Popularly known as The Hairbender, celebrity barber and entrepreneur Darrl (Dee) Robert Jr. is making a powerful impact on his community and his profession. Set apart by his intense work ethic and distinct style & ingenuity, Dee has cut a direct path to success wielding the tools of his trade and a tenacious “hustle hard” attitude. Since launching his brand in 2011, Dee's resume boasts working with greats like; NFL's Brandin Cooks, Nick Toons and Ben Watson; R&B singer Keisha Cole; to the wildly popular Bryshere Grey that plays Hakeem Lyons on Empire. In addition to servicing high profile athletes and platinum recording artists as clientèle, he is in high demand within the city of New Orleans and surrounding areas.

Driven by the belief that “laziness won't cut it”,  Darrl has worked hard to rise above the challenges of his youth, utilizing every talent and opportunity to improve self, and be a dynamic influence of faith and persistence to those around him. He is an artist, a youth advocate and a philanthropist. Along with the time he spends at THB NOLA, his unisex salon in historic Gretna, Louisiana, Darrl maintains his connection with the community by offering free services to the needy, and giving motivational speeches that inspire the next generation to dream more and work smarter. At times Dee can be found hosting charitable events in connection with Westwego Elementary School, The Covenant House and and The Color Gallery.

Darrl Robert Jr. reflects the diversity, intensity, and resilience of his hometown, New Orleans. When he's not busy hairbending, or speaking, he enjoys fishing, reading, his first love; drawing, and treating friends to his favorite food – pizza.
